Thanks for joining us for our ongoing series, Soul Cinema, a joint program with Rebecca Rosen and Soul Centered, showcasing popular movies, centered around particular soul themes.
This week’s featured film is, “Defending Your Life” According to many mystical traditions, each of us has a soul and our soul contracted to incarnate into our particular life with all of its nuances and details. The work of our life is to complete our unique curriculum, and at the end of our life, to “pass” our life review in front of the tribunal of elders on high. This life review is the determining factor whether we matriculate to the “next grade,” or return to repeat the school of life. In the end, as Defending Your Life so beautifully illustrates, it’s not about judgment; it’s about growth through facing and overcoming our fears.
